Cookie Consent for Agencies: Manage Every Client From One Login
Consentfolio lets an agency set up a compliant cookie banner for every client from one login and keep admin control of each project, while billing goes to the client so it never lands on the agency card. Each client domain is a separate project at £9 per domain per month, blocking trackers until consent and sending Google Consent Mode v2 signals. You manage the setup; the client pays for their own.
The billing handoff is the part agencies ask for most. You do the work and the client owns the invoice, however many clients sit on your account.

Set up once, hand over the bill
You add the client's domain, configure the banner, and paste one tag into their site. When it is ready, you hand billing to the client, who pays for their own domain directly. The client's subscription sits on their own card, and you skip the reimbursement chase. See how the billing handoff works for the product detail.
Compliant for every client
Each banner blocks non-essential tags before consent, offers an equal-prominence reject option, and records provable consent, which is what UK PECR and GDPR require. You point at the records when a client asks whether they are covered. See UK cookie law explained and how to prove cookie consent.
One client, three domains, one banner
Most agency clients run more than one site. A retail brand has a marketing site, a Shopify store and a Klaviyo-driven landing page. A B2B client has a corporate site, a docs subdomain on a different apex, and an app. On £24 and £49 plans, one Consentfolio project covers the client's main domain plus up to two more, all sharing a single banner and one consent choice. The visitor accepts on the marketing site, clicks through to the shop, and the shop already reflects that choice. No second banner appears. A visitor who lands directly on another domain (typed URL, search) sees the prompt once there, and Consentfolio carries the choice onward through link decoration.
You paste the same install snippet on every listed domain and add the extras in the banner customiser's Cross-domain consent card. Each client stays on their own project, so consent decisions never cross between clients. The preferences modal lists the covered domains, which is the legally material disclosure that makes one consent valid for several sites under UK GDPR.
Compliant for visitors, wherever they are
The banner adapts per visitor. EU and UK visitors see the opt-in banner. US visitors see a CCPA-style opt-out notice with a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control. Consentfolio auto-honours Global Privacy Control and emits the IAB GPP US National string for US ad-tech. Rest-of-world visitors see a light notice. Detection runs client-side by timezone and defaults to the strictest region when uncertain, so mistakes err toward over-compliance. See the multi-region guide for the underlying law.
Honest about the limits
Consentfolio does one job well. You declare cookies from templates instead of relying on an automatic site scan. It serves a single banner language at present. It geo-varies between three regions (EU/UK opt-in, US opt-out with GPC and GPP US National, rest-of-world notice) but does not resolve US state granularity. It is not a Google-certified CMP, so a client running AdSense or Ad Manager in the EEA needs a certified tool. If those matter for a particular client, say so up front.
Frequently asked questions
Can I manage all my clients from one account? Yes. Each client domain is a separate project under your login, so you set up and manage them all in one place.
Who pays for each client's banner? The client, after handoff. You set up the project, then hand billing to the client so the subscription sits on their own card.
Do I keep control after the client takes over billing? Yes. Billing moves to the client while you keep admin control of the configuration.
Is there a discount for many domains? Pricing is per project by the main domain's monthly users: £9 up to 100,000, £24 up to 500,000, £49 above. Each client pays for their own project's band. On £24 and £49 plans, a project also covers up to two additional domains at no extra cost, which is effectively a three-for-one discount for clients running a marketing site + shop + app.
Can one client have multiple sites under one banner? Yes, on £24 and £49. Add up to two additional domains to the project via the Cross-domain consent card. The same install snippet goes on every domain. The visitor's consent choice follows them through link clicks, and a direct visit to another domain still prompts once. The preferences modal discloses the covered domains automatically.
